Triglycerides

Need to find out how to reduce triglycerides on keto.

Throat seems to be worsening.

Had coconut chutney, tomato chutney and tea without milk or sugar.

Filled up 2 1-litre bottles with water.                    

Ate Revital, 3 capsules of Cod Liver Oil, Vitamin D3 and Vitamin C.

Scratchy throat

Woke up with a scratchy throat. Probably a result of the Holi bonfire and the walk in the night yesterday. Gargled with Betadine, hopefully the sore throat will go away.

Slept at 10:35pm yesterday and slept for 8 hours after a long time.

Ate a raw aithaka for breakfast.

Ultimatum

Ultimatum given to shape up by May 25 or no more low-carb.

Need to ensure that I eat as little of starches and root vegetables as possible and definitely no sweets. Also, need to drink 2 litres of water every day.

Need to take my revital, vitamin c, omega 3, vitamin D every day.

Need to walk 3 laps every day

Need to measure weight, waist, BP every day

Need to sleep every day by 10:30pm. So off I go!

How did I do yesterday?

* Walk to work - Yes

* Drink 12 cups of water - Didn't monitor closely. Likely did only 8 glasses

* Walk up the stairs - Yes

* Do yoga exercises - Yes

* Log blood pressure reading - No

* Control portion size - Yes, but ate two lunches dues to vendor meeting

* Go to sleep by 10pm - No

Overall - 1+0.5+1+1+0+0.5+0 = 4/7 = 57%

Start of the journey

Enough is enough!

I'm committing to losing weight and will no longer make excuses for not keeping with the program.

I will:

* Walk to work from home unless I am visiting a client/customer elsewhere or I need to do personal work

* Drink 12 small cups of water a day

* Walk up the stairs at home (9 floors) once a day

* Do yoga exercises for the back all days except Sunday

* Log blood pressure reading after doing yoga

* Control portion size every time I eat

* Go to sleep by 10pm
